  • Thank you so much for that. I will patiently wait until he is 18 and get him to open a LISA and gift him £4K to open it.
  • So can I buy a first time house using my LISA money for the deposit & get a bonus... and then with my H2B receive a bonus after I’ve bought the home??

Have I got that completely wrong..?
Hate seeing the spread of misinformation online, so I’ll do my best not to be a source of that myself

Yes you have got that completely wrong.
You cannot receive a HTB ISA bonus after you've bought a home
You cannot receive a bonus on a HTB ISA at all if you make a penalty free withdrawal from a LISA for a house purchase
