Any mobile plans with all you can eat data for 24-48 hours?
Options
Every so often I'm stuck somewhere with no wi-fi so I can't access the internet, but need to do a very data heavy task. This situation doesn't happen very often, (less than once every 5 months or so but all the plans for mobile data I can see are either contract, which I don't want; a certain GB amount, which I 'll quickly burn through or "all you can eat" for a month which I won't need more than 1 day of. Is there a good SIM that has an "all you can eat" option that lasts only a day or two at a reasonable rate?

Three have AYCE options on PAYG, valid for 30 days though, only one I can think of.

Don't know what "unlimited" actually means, but is says "Unlimited data, no restrictions"0 -
It's a while since I used them but you used to be able to start giffgaff's month by month 'goodybag' payg bundles early if you ran out of data.

They also have an 'always on' goodybag that slows you down during the day once you hit 20GB if that could work with your expected usage pattern.0 -

Slows you down to 2G EDGE speed and gets you a warning for “abuse” the first time you go over , and they ban you from buying that goody bag if you go much over 20GB a second time from what I’ve read on their forums.
I wouldn’t recommend Giffgaff for anyone wanting real AYCE data.====0 -
I got a SIM with Sky -- £3 a month for unlimited call/texts and 1GB/month data. (I got it half price for having Sky broadband too.)
Unused data rolls over into a "piggybank", and I was given 5GB in the piggybank to start off. It seems like a really good way to have spare data for emergencies without paying through the nose for it.
I've had the SIM for three months, and only used about 200MB of data. So I now have about 7.8GB saved up if needed.
The 2GB and 4GB plans mean you'd build up a data piggybank even quicker.
