Gers... I hope your house is ok when you get back, nothing worse than water. Safe journey.
Afternoon - my home is still dry underfoot, thanks! All the shorelines are covered in big mounds of seaweed so there's been huge waves. Thankfully the Spring tide has subsided though the water is still high.
I met up with Camelot for a coffee and chat on the way home, so lovely to sit and natter for half an hour or so. I've filled up the bird feeders, unpacked my haversack, had some lunch and now sitting under my heated throw with a cup of tea.
Think i've caught up with everyone's news and will now fight to keep my eyes open!.0 -
Another day, another visit to A & E. I'm waiting for a call back from the helpline but from what she said he will need to go in again. I got told off for not ringing at midnight last night, I'm damned if I do, damned if I don't.0

Oh SNOOZER I feel for you I really do. Having been in a similar place to you I can understand just how you are feeling. At times you feel helpless.
GINTOT happy to oblige :
4 rashers bacon (or equivalent in cooking bacon bits)
1 medium onion
1 medium carrot
115 gm red lentils
400 gm can of plum tomatoes
850 ml chicken stock (if I have ham stock in freezer I use that)
salt and black pepper
Chop veg quite small and let whole lot simmer for an hour or so. Liquidise when it cools a bit.
DUMPLING pleased to hear you are feeling better. They were worrying symptoms you had and if it happens again get medical advice. Are you listening young lady!
GERS good to hear your house hasn't floated away. I hope Inveraray escaped flooding, I have a soft spot for that little place. (As I speak I have on the warm fleece lined duffel knit I got in the mill shop there 4 or 5 years ago! I've had my moneysworth out of it but it's looking a bit worse for wear now)
The strong wind has died down here, hope it has deserted everyone else too. xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0 -

dumpling, looks like it's getting bigger, I have a hospital appointment to hear the results of the node removel on Tuesday so if it hasn't got unbearable before then, I'll get them to do it then. It's not too bad, although my arm and side are definitely feeling it....
but the main reason for posting again is this...
snoozer, it's not your fault, you're not psychic and the nurse you did speak to made you feel like you were being a proxy hypochondriac. Can you ask for a team meet or something where you can establish exactly when and in what circumstances you should phone? Me, I'd be phoning every time I was worried, until they could tell me this stuff. Don't you go feeling guilty. You;ve got a lot on your plate and you're not a superwoman to be juggling so many things all the time. You're doing as welll as you can in the circumstances.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0
