Bad Roof Repair?

Options
Hi, we have just had our roof replaced due to extensive water damage which buckled the roof boards and rotted the felt. On the whole we were happy with the roofers speed and attitude to the job but now they have finished I went into the attic and discovered that almost every roofing board that I can see has nails protruding either side of the roof beams.

I have no way of telling if they also managed to get any nails into the beams and therefore if my roof is going to slide off one day!

Could do with users comments on this, even if boards are secure, surely this is shoddy workmanship quite appart from making it quite dangerous to stand up.

Really need advice on whether this is good cause to withold payment? Scafolding is still up and they say they'll be back Monday to tidy up.
