How to download music from U Tube onto SD card

How can I download music from U Tube onto my SD Card. Simple easy to follow instructions will be most welcome to a novice in such things.I cannot find a download button on U Tube although I am led to believe there is one somewhere.

It's probably a little more complex than that. There is music available for free download, legally, on the web. Some of that may be on Youtube.

The only issue is knowing which is which.

I am looking to download music legally onto MP3 to my Sd Card from U Tube and other sites.

The legal sites have a simple download button. Here's an example page:-

You need to create an account, but once you've done that, it's a simple task to click on the download button next to a track. The files then end up in your Downloads folder (Windows), and you can drag them to your SD card.

For Youtube you need a converter app, and there are lots available. I've used this one before: https://www.easy-youtube-mp3.com/

As noted above, Youtube content may be subject to copyright, and there may be no easy way to tell which does and which does not. I have a feeling that downloading is also a breach of Youtube terms of use, but that would be a civil matter.

Suggestion;

Look at YouTube
Establish if the stuff you want is commercial product, the sale of which will put money in the artist's pocket, and help them to produce more of the same.
Ask yourself if you want the artist to produce more of the same
If the answer to the last question is "Yes", then find somewhere where you can buy the artist's product.
Buy it
Rip it to mp3 and copy to your SD card or mobile device.
