Warning: Ryanair charging their currency conversion rates, even when opted out

Thanks for the advice, unfortunately I received an unhelpful reply from the credit card company (Aqua) who did not seem to understand the problem, so I've tried to contact them again.

And yes, I opted out of Ryanairs dynamic currency conversion (I was charged in Swedish crowns rather than GBP) and my booking confirmation confirms this.

Yes I opted out of the dynamic currency conversion and have proof (which I sent to them), but they would not address my complaint after contacting them multiple times.

Unfortunately bank call centre staff are often clueless these days. Try again, and if you get nowhere write to them with the evidence.

Google "DCC chargeback" for loads on this like the VISA/Mastercard rules, chargeback code etc, which you can educate the bank call centre staff with! But a letter is probably more likely to get you somewhere.
