Thanks for the advice, unfortunately I received an unhelpful reply from the credit card company (Aqua) who did not seem to understand the problem, so I've tried to contact them again.
And yes, I opted out of Ryanairs dynamic currency conversion (I was charged in Swedish crowns rather than GBP) and my booking confirmation confirms this.0 -
Yes I opted out of the dynamic currency conversion and have proof (which I sent to them), but they would not address my complaint after contacting them multiple times.0

Google "DCC chargeback" for loads on this like the VISA/Mastercard rules, chargeback code etc, which you can educate the bank call centre staff with! But a letter is probably more likely to get you somewhere.0
