I reported the hacker rumour to Microsoft and was assured that the site had not been invaded. We have had reports of wins and non-wins and it appears that prizes are being received.

When it comes to the entry code I know that I had one experience where it didn't work but that was because I did a cut and past and inadvertantly copied the full stop at the end of the entry code.When I removed the full stop, I entered successfully.

The day after I registered, my Ebay account was hijacked and someone was selling through my account. I mentioned the Windows lounge site to ebay in case anybody else had the same problem.

Might be worth changing your password on the other sites, I have.

Oh, that happened to me too - had my email and ebay account hacked into!! Ive changed a load of my passwords now because of it so hopefully i wont get any more probs.

I really hope it's a genuine win for you Tulip, and if not, that Microsoft do the right thing.

It's a bit scary about the security issues.

It's a bit worrying that MS are saying they weren't hacked and a bit of a coincidence that we both registered and had an ebay account hijacked.

A friend of mine won a copy of office 2007 on there yersterday and got the "bedone evil hackers" message when he clicked the back button too.
We're wondering if it's something Microsoft have put on to stop people trying to email the winning page link to their friends....? He's gonna email them tomorrow if he's not heard anything from them.
