Ah! Light bulb moment?

I use FF at work for this forum. I used to be able to use Ctrl+U, Ctrl+B etc. in the quick reply box to add formatting; since a recent update to FF this has stopped working, and the usual default browser actions (bookmarks, source code) have reverted.

Maybe your browser has updated too G_M?

Sounds plausible.Though if so, annoying.


I had wondered if I'd inadvertantly hit some combination of keys that re-set the way things work, but I can't think what.

Works in exactly the same way as previously described.

It's FF (and possibly Chrome) I went to a W10 VM earlier and it does just as you say, I installed an add-on to change the default shortcuts (ctrl + b/i/u) to be ignored but all that does is stop them being passed through to the site..and not to be actioned by FF so the defaults don't get acted on (eg Bookmarks/Page Source). It is annoying isn't it, so it's not a key combo you have hit,
