Euro Parking Services - No Permit

Firstly, I'd like to apologise as I've read the Newbie posts & although I have found information on private parking charges they all seem to be for parking incorrectly in a bay or overstaying a time limit.
Please don't be mad at me for writing another parking notice thread!!
So.....
I parked in a car park next to the local school without having a permit displayed (I don't have one, I was late for school pick up due to a RTA delaying me on my journey so parked where I could!)
The offence took place on the 16.11.18 & I received a letter on the 22.11.18 but genuinely forgot about it. I then received another letter around the Christmas period, again forgetting about it due to the festivities. I've today received a 'LETTER BEFORE COURT ACTION' demanding I pay £160.
As I previously said, I have looked at the newbie information & I can't find what I'm looking for - there's so much information it's all a bit overwhelming & so many links to other places that it's confused me. (Sorry for being thick!)
Can anyone advise what steps I need to be taking? I presume POPLA? What do I include? I also read that they should have provided me the their reasons for the amount they have fined me, I don't recall having that on any of my letters. They have only provided me with a date of offence, the time I was there from-till, place of offence, pictures of my car (a man comes around taking pictures at school run times - never at any other time of day!) & the amount I have to pay.
Thanks in advance for any help received & nice again apologies.

Not that well I fear.I've read the Newbie postsI parked in a car parkThe offence took place on the 16.11.18 & I received a letter on the 22.11.18
Nothing you can do now - too late. Just ignore it and see if they issue a LBC or MCOL Claim (NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #5 for acronyms). Can anyone advise what steps I need to be taking?
Even if POPLA was available to you it would be too late. But it isn't open to you as EPS are IPC operators.I presume POPLA?Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Who sent that letter?General_law_abider wrote: »I've today received a 'LETTER BEFORE COURT ACTION' demanding I pay £160.
Who does it suggest you pay?
If it is a compliant 'LETTER BEFORE COURT ACTION' it will give you thirty days to respond and enclose forms to be completed.
Post #2 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread offers guidance on how to react to a Letter Before Claim.0 -
Euro parking services sent the letter to pay them the £160, if I fail to do so they will instruct Gladstones Solicitors to commence proceedings against me.
It says I have 14 days to pay the full amount.0 -

Ok, as Umkomaas said, that can be ignored.0 -
Thank you. What would my next step be then?
As I previously said, I've read the Newbie info but there is so much to take in, it's all so overwhelming & I didn't see anything about a 'letter before court action' with Euro Parking Services hence this post. Is a letter before claim the same thing? Is the SAR my next step?
I'm so sorry for being frustrating & not understanding the information given in the Newbie post.0 -

a) ignore debt collector letters (NEWBIE thread post # 4)
b) read from beginning of NEWBIE post # 2, particularlyIf you have a real 'Letter of claim' or Letter Before Claim (LBC), a claim IS likely. I don't mean one asking you to pay a debt collector, I mean a 'real' LBC like here, which you can tell due to the 30 day deadline and mention of reply forms:
