Hi Guys,
Back in December 2015 I finally went through with the bankruptcy process. It was the scariest jump to make given the debts I had racked up, but looking back now, I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life.
Anyways, there were about 12 outstanding debts to a variety of lenders via bank accounts, unsecured loans, payday loans.
Presently though on my credit report i have the following:
Natwest Credit Card - £3340 - DEFAULT
Argos Card - £106 - DEFAULT
Wonga Loan - £308 - DEFAULT
Now all the other debts I have the status of them has been either 'Settled' or 'Satisfied'. And these have all been this status since i was discharged December 2016.
Can anyone explain why these 3 listed are still down as default? Is there anything I can do to get the status of these changed?
Any advice would be welcome.

Because they are defaulted debts.
You can ask them to change the status but they’re not obliged to0 -
Thanks Gary. I didn't know that was how it worked, and thought that they all operated in the same manner.0

I believe their default dates should have been on or before the date your bankruptcy began? (I think so anyway)I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.
I love my job0 -
This hasn't been the case, they have been marked down as default since the bankruptcy, right up to January 2019. Nearly 3 years now.0

Correct.
They will stay on your files 6 years from the date of default0 -
Hi,
The rules for insolvency differ slightly, for bankruptcy and DRO, upon completion of a DRO, or discharge from bankruptcy, your accounts should all be marked as settled, or satisfied, and the default date should not be recorded later than the start of your bankruptcy.
You should write and ask the creditors to mark your file correctly, and complain to the ICO if they do not do so.
