No there is a lurking scam merely by the presence of the scammer.

Because even if a person buys a ticket, the scamming ticketer - who needs to get a real job - is there to (possibly, it has happened, naming no names of firms) lean on the car, blow in the vents to flip the flimsy ticket over, and will always aim to make up any old excuse for a ticket.

Parking on the cracks in the pavement? £100 please. Scam all over.

  • Hi,

The driver was going to appeal on the 25th day - as suggested but has now noticed that 28 days from the date on their letter (certainly not 28 days from when it arrived!) is tomorrow.

Have they missed the boat or can they still appeal online (although it says any online appeal has to within 21 days of the date on the letter)

    Thanks
  • Not worth appealing to a scammer that uses the IAS (Independent appeals service) more bent than a politicians spine!

Plenty of threads on here regarding the scumbags Excel and their scaming practices, read, read and read as much as possible about the game you are now involved in, learn how you can deal with it, you may win, you may not but its all a valuable experience (as I have found)

Ignore it then and defend it at small claims stage instead, like everyone else does with the exact same PCNs.

The sign says "Iceland, in partnership with Excel".

Are Iceland happy with their partner's conduct I wonder. Are customers happy with Iceland? OP, I suggest that you write bad stuff on their Facebook page and tweet disparagingly.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.
