Did you still manage to start your apprenticeship? If so, good luck with it, it's a great way to start a career.0 -
Yeah I have mate thanks, its the only reason I can afford this expensive insurance0

I don't think it's such a good idea to post so many personal details on a public forum.
So far there is your name, the town you live in, a photograph of you on the newspaper report and your MSE user name contains what is presumably your date of birth.0 -

From what we've seen so far, the OP doesn't do good ideas.;)0 -

9mo ban and a couple of hundred quid fine for drink-driving in a stolen vehicle...? You got off VERY lightly, OP.0 -
If you didn't have to re-sit your test, then I think you can safely say you've held the license for 13 months.
Presumably you've learnt a fairly harsh lesson (which is fair, it was a stupid thing to do), so good luck getting on with your life and responsible motoring.0 -
Wow, and you still plan on driving; best of luck.0

Yes, the OP may have gotten off lightly with the court penalty but don't forget that they will be paying for their error for many years to come.
At least they seem to be taking their driving responsibly and although insurance will be costing a small fortune, they are ensuring that they do everything legally and get it which is something that an awful lot of drivers don't bother with nowadays.0
