Am I entitled to refund from noisy hotel stay?

I've had this.


After 2 hours I came out to complain, found the night work trying to deal with this; unfortunately young guy and obviously not very confident (obvious to see, not because of his age)


After suggesting the offending party be quiet - I used different words.... - I simply told him I would be requiring a refund; as they had ample opportunity to rectify the situation and hadn't. This was on the same floor as reception.


Whilst I was not 'entitled' to a refund; I knew it would be cheaper for them to pay than defend a civil claim.

- Playground comment is due to Zandoni choosing to reply to the "weakest" reply of the lot, ie the reply which offered very little. More of an absolutely random observation to be fair, and not actually a criticism per se (I am, myself, wondering why I said it!).


- Proactive comment because Zandoni did eventually go down to reception and sort it out. They got a resolution due to that.
