Great news on the new contract Hopefully that will help.

Is your CC on 0%? Can you transfer it? Get a 0% spends card if you really need it (best avoided)?

I hate paying interest with a passion.

    Thanks Saving Holmes :)

Thankfully, we pay it off every month now, but that’ll mean we will be wiped out this month :(

Will be paid for a couple of hours work tomorrow, which will help, but YNAB is making me painfully aware of just how many things we need to pay for. This’ll only get worse with the cost of living increase too.

Have been looking at ‘heat the person’ tips recently and think that might be one way to go over this winter. I feel blessed that we aren’t in as bad a position as many. Definitely need to tighten my belt though. Overpaid a bit more today, so mortgage 2 is £213999.99.

Can you try and reduce your spend and reduce use of CC at all? Would meal planning help?
