The above should say £70k, not £70. I wish it was £70!
Mortgage 1 is now at £219000 and I'm not sure about the other. We are currently saving for a holiday and there’s a few other things potentially on the horizon.

New business opportunity sounds interesting. Wise to hold some money back.

Well, I actually had a bit of a light bulb moment and feel really disappointed that it’s taken this long…..

I’ve not been able to overpay the same amounts for a few months now, but have still overpaid much smaller amounts to round it up to £1000 in total per month.

Mr P has handed in his notice and is planning his business options out. I’ve set up YNAB and read Girls that invest, so am planning to try and curb unnecessary spending and start paying into our S&S ISAs where possible. I still don’t have a full understanding of S&S, but feel in a better position to start looking into it more. I have also listed a number of things on eBay as there’s a £1 fee option at the minute. I actually sold something for £150, but unfortunately they buyer had made a mistake and so I ended up refunding her and losing out on the £1 fee ☹️ Not a great start!
I’m thinking of balancing overpayments with investments, so am not sure if this is the right place to be, but as this diary is already here and as im still hoping to overpay a bit, I will stay here for now.
Im going to try and write more as I think it’ll keep me focused.
so far I’m liking YNAB, but I do wish it wasn’t so expensive! Im on the free trial, but think that I’ll probably subscribe.
Hoping the budgeting will offset the payment!

Oh and mortgage one is at £214999, but I’m not sure about mortgage two as I have to ring them for updates!

Well, the whole budgeting thing is going ok, but could be better. I’ve also sold something on eBay :)
I’m definitely more mindful of my spending with YNAB, so hopefully it’ll keep me on track a bit.
The credit card is really high at the minute, which as we pay it off each month will be a big hit! I feel like it’ll even out a bit though. Fingers crossed.
Mr P secured his first contract today, so it’s a good day, as hopefully that’ll bring in about 20 weeks of work.
