Presumably you sold out of Woodford because you saw better returns had been made elsewhere. Chasing performance is akin to finding the end of a rainbow. SMT has traded in a range between 569p and 417p in the past 12 months. Hardly surprising given it's hefty exposure to Tesla and Amazon.0 -

Update to your valid point, fall today was 1.7%, still only half or less of my various Vanguard world trackers for example, and most others in the red.0 -
Fundsmith down 1.7%
Lindsell Train down 1.4%
Blue Whale down 2%0 -
Woodford Equity Income acc up 0.07%
Edit: error - down 1.92%0 -
Woodford Equity Income acc up 0.07%
Is it? Trustnet here https://www.trustnet.com/factsheets/o/kebc/lf-woodford-equity-income-c-acc-gbp list todays movement as -1.92%, as do fidelity. I did not check anywhere else.
His flagship fund is now up 7.9% in almost 4 years. Absolutely atrocious compared to UK passive funds or any of his peers active funds, even the crappy high charge closet tracker types.0 -

Yes, most of the global IT’s were down between 3-3.5% on Friday and SMT is down 4.5% including close of business today so Fundsmith at 1.7% is good and looking quite defensive in these type of downturns.0 -

You are correct - apologies. CSD shows it as 0.07% up but clicking on the 1-day graph shows a 1.9% drop. They just havent updated todays figure.0 -

I have similar issues with CSD, my holdings there don't appear to properly update until 8am the following morning although I think the platform has the data before that as some totals update earlier.0 -

You are being too kind.
Then there's his Woodford Patient Capital Trainwreck, having lost 24% in its four years of existence, ouch!0 -
The "Patient" bit obviously means longer than 4 years!0
