Snowflake teachers.

Options
Anybody in East Lancs. knows that we've escaped the worst of the snow, but today is the 2nd day this week that about half of sons teachers have been off "Due to snow".
Amazing how the vast majority of proper workers managed to get to work.

Do you know where the teachers live? They may not be local and commute therefore affected by snow.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.

No, point being they all get in with no problems. Why can't teachers?

You ever tried it? No, didn't think so.

Attitudes like that are (part of) why there is a crisis in education with droves of good teachers leaving.

I would challenge any of the detractors to spend a week, even in a primary school, and tell me they have an easy job.

    Rubbish.

You don't have a clue what I've done or haven't done, so don't assume you know, because you don't.

Did the school closure notification actually say that the school was closed due to staff being unable to get there? Schools close for many different reasons on snow days, not least of which is site safety. I wonder how this post would read if your child slipped and broke their wrist.

No, I didn't say school was closed. Some of the staff had the gumption to actually make it.

If he slipped and broke his wrist it would be his fault.
