I also got an email today saying the order has been cancelled :

Dear Customer Pricing error on Xbox wireless entertainment pack
During the weekend the above item appeared on our website priced at £18.00. Unfortunately the item does not exist and appeared on the site due to a data error from our supplier.
We have no alternative but to cancel your order. You have not been billed for this item.
Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused and be assured that we are working with our supplier to ensure that the situation does not happen again.

I've also just received another email (while I was typing a reply to the first one!) telling me my order has now been dispatched and my card charged the £18.

I ordered 2 of these from virgin,

got the cancellation email on Tuesday,

but at 10.30 this morning guess what turned up via Parcelforce....

2 x wireless controllers & Forza2 bundles. :T

happy or what? :beer:

£18 each so I`ve checked and £36 has been debited from my account.:j

i also ordered one of these, also got above email saying item doesn't exist, got told it had been cancelled and i would not be charged.

but today the money was taken from my bank account

so i checked my virgin megastores account and it says order status - in progress

???

Same here, money was taken on the 11 Nov and appears on my statement as taken. I also received the cancelled order money not taken email.
Order says in progress so I have no idea what they are playing at unless I give them a call.

I think it's worth holding on a few days maybe,

if you call them it might prompt them to cancel whereas if you don't they might still automatically send it out? I'm not sure but it's possible.

No problem holding out for a few days until I call as I can prove they owe me the money. I would have liked the package though for £18.
