XBOX 360: Forza 2 + Wireless Controller = £18

An entertainment pack which retails for around £70.
As i understand it Entertainment UK which supplies virgin, woolies and tesco have put together this wireless pack. It's meant to be £34.99 or whatever. The error earlier in the week came when the description was wrong because it said it included the console which it doesn't.
I wouldn't be surprised if Virgin are genuinely selling the pack at £18 to save face a bit after the initial cok up to save face a little? Or give the opportunity to people who genuinely did want the entertainment pack?
Or it could be a total price error, but if so it's a very odd price mistake:rudolf:0 -
This wireless entertainment pack is available at many retailers including Amazon (£69.98) and HMV (£114.99 ).
Not sure what's going on with the pricing but an RRP of £34.99 is surely a mistake as that's the price of a game alone!0 -
I ordered on on the 'offchance'. (Xmas pressie!). Got the e-mail confirmation then another saying it was backordered - web site still showing 'in stock'
Just have to wait and see I guess0 -

or £29.99 at ShopTo.
Sure the two items bought individually would be nearer that price but I think this is the game that has been bundled with a console, split, and now bundled with a controller instead, and the console sold on its own.
The cost of the console would cover the 'loss' on this bundle.0 -
Forza 2 and a Wireless controller are in a single box. The controller is in the normal off the shelf packaging. The game has 'bundle copy, not for individual resale' on both the case and the disc itself. The box is scanned through the till with a 360 Console to invoke a promotional price. It's free with the console at some stores.
The pack looks identical to the PGR3 and controller pack that was around last year0 -

You are doing better than me. I didn't get a response from virgin when I emailed them about the last offer I tried to buy. I got a message going through checkout saying they said they don't deliver to my country (UK).
I won't be trying to order from them again if that is a reflection of their website and customer services.0 -
Please dont order from virgin megastores, they are truly shocking with customer service. I ordered from them, took 3 weeks to be dispatched then never received it, their customer service phone number never got answered, and they never replied to emails. In the end I got their reception number and had to speak to the receptionist of the building, I asked if there was actually anybody working in the CS department and she said yes, 2 at any one time!!!!!!!!!!!!
They are shockingly awful and will disappear soon enough
