thankyou for all your responses.
the phrase 'gesture of good will' is how they phrased it. and they are wanting us to make them an offer without us knowing anything about the washing machine apart from it being a year old, rather than them giving us a set price that they would like for it.
we have told them we are not willing to and they can take it if they want and we wil get a brand new one.0 -
that is pretty much what we have said. but i don't think it will even fit in their new house otherwise they would have said they were taking it with them rather than asking us to buy it.
we will see how it pans out.0
