We submitted a response to the charge online just before their expiry limit.
Confused what to do? They've not responded to the reasons for the appeal. Just asking for the drivers postal address.

Ignore it.
Wait patiently for your appeal refusal letter and your PoPLA code.
You then need to be reading post #3 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread to understand how compile a winning PoPLA appeal.0 -
The keeper has appealed and is waiting for a PoPLA code, and should ignore everything else.
If one doesn't arrive by about day 40 then complain to the BPA and DVLA.
In any case, please complain to your MP about this unregulated scam.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -
To assist us to making a decision with your appeal, please confirm the full name and address of the driver to the Appeals Department within seven days of the date of this letter.

Not the UKPC rubbish again, Rupert Williams bunch of cronies on the funny stuff again.
You are dealing with a fraudster and scammer and yes, they are members of the BPA .... the scammers club.
Ignore the plebbies and wait for your POPLA code

WHAT UTTER RUBBISH0 -
Can they find my address details from the dvla? I.e. using different means?
What are the next steps? Just wait now?
I'd like my popla code so I can have arbitration but should I wait for it or send them a quick email with reference asking for such?
If popla finds in their favour I'd pay the fine but feel that the charge and circumstances were draconian.0 -
They are fraudster, they will try every trick in the book

The whole industry is a scam, relying on threats of court, and the public's ignorance of the Law, A bill is currently before parliament which will regulate the scammers, many of whom are ex-clampers.
This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of alleged contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors. Is has been suggested by an MP that some of these companies may have connections to organised crime.
Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, (especially Smart}, and others have already been named and shamed in the House of Commons as have Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each week), hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned. They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P. for unprofessional conduct
The problem has become so widespread that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers.
Sir Greg Knight's Private Members Bill to curb the excesses, and perhaps close down, some of these companies passed its Second Reading in the Lords this month, and, with a fair wind, will l become Law later this year..
All five readings are available to watch on the internet, (some 7-8 hours), and published in Hansard. MPs have an extremely low opinion of the industry. Many are complaining that they are becoming overwhelmed by complaints from members of the public. Add to their burden, complain in the most robust terms about the scammers. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
Please edit your opening post to remove the big clue to the driver's identity.
The first sentence of post #2 above gives a hint to what I'm talking about.0 -

THEY WANT TO KNOW WHO THE DRIVER WAS, AND YOU ARE NOT TO TELL THEM.
Let them blink first and sit tight.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

hora, just to confirm, assuming you are the Registered Keeper and appealed as the RK, did you so much as imply who was driving in the appeal? They will have the RK's details from the DVLA, they cannot obtain the driver's address unless the RK gives it to them. Make sure they deal with the RK and only the RK, here, now & for evermore.
They should provide a POPLA code with the almost inevitable refusal of the appeal. If for some reason they don't, that's when to demand one.
Draconian circumstances .... well time to start planning the POPLA appeal then. A bit of preparation soothes the nerves!0 -
(Had to use a new login)- 5months on. Nothing, no popla code. No communication, no reply.0
