Same solicitors firm as seller?

I just used a solicitor the EA recommend.
They do NOT pay referral fees.
They are recommend because they are good.
We had the same firm as our seller and I had to sign a letter to say that if there was a dispute then one of us might have to choose another solicitor (it was the same chain but different location).
Another conveyancer down the chain have been a right PITA, so I don't agree that it can't help to have solicitors who have a motivation to work together.0 -
Sorry I would want my lawyer to be as pedantic, nit picky and thorough as possible.
In a commercial world, that relies on fees (and therefore how much time committed to a project) there is defona conflict of interest / benefit in just doing enough to cover the basis rather than going the extra mile.0
