  • Just an idea of what you could do, there won't be hyperlinks where it says HERE you can replace that with the relevant section name Obviously if you guys are actually interested in going down that path you can put in the right info.

Here's is a totally rough draft to test how an image shows up in a post and give you an idea of what you could do. Small flowcharts for each process may work better than a giant complicate one.

Sorry you just will not get me doing one of these childish pictograms.

You might find it pretty, I think it is a horrible thing and can't cover what it needs to.

People are not that needy and it WILL NOT WORK as it's not that simple to appeal these PCNs, there are too many issues to cover. So much easier to just give them what they need in one appeal and to answer some Q&As at the start.

All people need, is to read the sticky...loads do, and loads win with or without posting.

    :D
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I disagree people are VERY needy. That's why they keep on opening new threads asking for specialist help and you guys are wasting hours and hours saying the same thing 'Read the newbie thread' to which they reply 'I have BUT I don't get this and I don't get that' . Anyway you can only take the horse to the water you cannot make it drink, I'm just trying to tell you from personal experience as a newbie what could save you alot of time it's your choice whether you take my advice on board. When people are in panic mode they don't read paragraphs of text they just want someone to tell them relax don't panic it's really simple let me show you - once they've calmed down and understood the process THEN you send them to the deeper info. There's a reason multi billion dollar business use these colourful diagrams - they work. Maybe you should discuss with the other experienced guys on here they don't seem as against it as you! Thanks for all your efforts you have put alot of work into this anyway. Will keep you updated on my appeal :D
  • Hi Guys,

Got an update. POPLA emailed me saying ecp has replied with their evidence and that I have 7 days to review and comment on it. However when I login the progress bar is till at stage 2 and says

"We have received your appeal and have requested the parking operator to provide information and evidence about your appeal. We will notify you when we receive this information and evidence and begin to assess your appeal. You do not need to take any action."

    Is this normal?

    Thanks

No. Phone PoPLA and ask them what's going on.

At the same time ask them to extend the period allowed for your response by the 'missing' time.
  • I checked again this morning and it has come through. There's a long PDF with lot's of photos of signage In that it mentions that I did not attach any PDF! So I called POPLA and indeed the pdf was not attached. They told me to email it in to them instead. Please advise. Thanks

So theyre saying YOU did not attach a PDF to your appeal?
What do you want us to advise? If POPLA have accepted their system had not recorded the PDF, then its up to them what they do...
  • Not sure if this makes any difference, but I've just noticed that my surname has been spelt wrong with a letter missing all the way back since the first NTK. Is that something that could be useful?

I just explained they've asked me to email it to them which I have now done. In the meantime however ECP have sent their POPLA appeal so I'm asking what you suggest I do now. Do I start commenting against it?

    Completely irrelevant
Worth cehcking the V5 and seeing if it is correct or not on there!

Well yes, what else do you think youre supposed to do? You go through it and see if they have answered your appela points (I dont see how they could have done but worth a shot) and if their signs are of the right car park, are the signs actually there, etc.

You didn't send the text of your appeal (or at least POPLA say you didn't) so what is the assessor assessing? They have sent their comments - but what are they commenting on? Can you see anything in the comments that gives you proof they have received your .pdf?
