Some people say contact the MD others the CEO.
One and the same, the terms have been used interchangeably.
there are several names from Ronnie to Christian
Several? Ronny Gottschlich is long gone. Christian is yer man.

Did you look at other emails - as I suggested earlier?

This isn't a 'how to write letters' forum.

I have been reading all day. As a 66 yr old pensioner I am not used to websites and find it difficult to navigate. This is my granddaughters account and she initially helped me. I am tryly grateful to those people who have been kind enough to reply with helpful comments but am a little disappointed with those who have been sarcastic and assume everyone is as computer.literate as they are. It doesn't cost anything to be nice or helpful. If I were more familiar with posts about parking charges I would certainly direct people to specifics rather than say look at what amounts to 100s.
Once again thanks for the helpful comments.

COPY AND PASTE INTO NOTEPAD OR WORDPAD, DO THE EDITING AND SAVE IT , then copy and paste into your email to Christian Haertnagel

in the subject line for the email, put something like PARKING CHARGE COMPLAINT FAO the CEO

there are plenty of people our age that can and do use computers, plus get help from your relative as they definitely know how to use a computer

I'm a 64 year old pensioner who was taught how to write letters when I was doing O-level English at school.

Email just means electronic mail which means a letter writ on a pooter instead of paper, and sent electronically.

If it helps, write a letter of complaint on paper then type it out in and email and send it.

    Title? Parking complaint.

Subject matter? I spent money in your store and now I'm being penalised.
Please cancel it or I will shop elsewhere.
Here are copies of my family's receipt to show how much your store will be losing.

    Other stores are available.
I married my cousin. I had to...
    I don't have a sister. :D
    All my screwdrivers are cordless.

As a 66 yr old pensioner
You'll be junior to many regulars.

Thanks for the reply. Firstly, good job proof reading wasn't part of the O'level English as if you'd read my post correctly I said I did not have a receipt.:)
I'm actually educated to degree level in English and am quite capable of writing letters, using a computer and sending emails. When I said not as computer literate I was referring to using sites like this where there are 100's of posts about the same topic that are not exclusive to Athena and which also proved difficult to determine whether the same PCN rules still applied for 2019. Not one post paralleled my situation for me to know what to write regarding the oversight of registering and having no receipt, or, what was best to put in the subject title to get a response. Eg: parking charge, Athena, PCN, complaint etc etc.
However, thanks to the helpful comments, I compiled a letter and emailed it with a 'delivered & read request' to C.H titled 'PCN' and received a reply to say LIDL have contacted Athena to cancel the charge.
I will be using this site from now on to respond with specifics to anyone who asks for help for a similar situation or matters that relate to my vocational expertise.
    Have a good day.

It would be great to have an addition to the very small number of volunteers who give freely and generously of their own time to help people (complete strangers) with their problems, none of which are of the regulars' making. You can see how much input regulars have made by their post count.

For example, Fruitcake who tried to help you, has given his assistance to the forum on almost thirty nine thousand occasions. If you can get your post count on this forum past 50 in helping others, then you will have made a really positive contribution to the cause. I look forward to seeing you on forthcoming Lidl/Athena cases.

By the way - in what area is your 'vocational expertise', just so we know for future reference?
