Log Burner Potential Danger

Good morning,
Apologies if this is the wrong place or already answered.
We are looking to get a small (5kw, ecosy+) log burner installed in a Victorian Terrace (2 storey + loft). There was previously an open fire used there.
When we moved in the loft was bare brick stacks, we have since plaster boarded this out to use as a storage room.
Is there a danger the bricks could get too hot and potentially cause a fire up there?
Kind regards
Simon

There will be no danger of a fire.
A metal chimney liner will be used.0 -
There should be no problems as long as the chimney IS lined with a stainless steel liner.
I suggest you ensure that whoever does the work uses one.0 -
I have a multifuel stove installed on the ground floor. In the room above, the chimney gets up to around 25°C. Not high enough to cause any safety concerns, but does provide a small amount of warmth. Her courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.0 -
Mine is a multi stove up to 8kWh. Doesn't have kick out some heat when I burn wood briquettes. Our chimney was lined and we get very little smoke come out of the chimney as it burns very hot and efficiently due to what we burn0

Thanks everyone - they are lining the chimney and providing a HETAS certificate.0
