Smokeless Coal?

Hi,

Where is the best (cheapest) place i can buy smokeless coal? My usual supplier has let me down....

I'd need around 1ton - I'm down to my last half a bag and have been chucking logs on the fire but they just don't give off the heat. My previous supplier sold me 1t for £120

The cheapest I have found is https://www.houseful.co,uk from whom I've ordered four or five times.

The only downside to their service is that they ship palletised loads which means you have to have some way of storing a large wooden pallet of 20-25kg sacks (packing varies depending on which type you buy). Other than that they seem fine.

Depending on the driver you get (the system they use means they don't even know who does the delivery at your end) you may end up with a 1 tonne pallet stuck at the end of your drive, if you have one, or right outside your house, if you don't. The drivers are paid just to drop it at the kerbside. Some drivers will help you get it onto your property, some won't.
