ah so if the euro rate shot up to what i felt was great i could exchange it now and spend at that rate later?

doesnt seem to be any downsides to getting this?

Yes, you can exchange your funds any time, at the perfect interbank rate of that moment on weekdays, small markup on weekends.

I recommend that you familiarise yourself with how it works, all the info is there, and make sure your account is fully verified, before going ahead.

It depends on the credit card company, I once used my Tandem card to load Revolut and it was a normal purchase, other CCs may differ.

I’ve been using Revolut for several years now and I can also confirm all the above.
Extremely easy and flexible to load, withdraw, send and exchange money.
I have loaded cash from credit cards (MBNA, Barclaycard, Virgin. Amex not accepted) and have shown in statement as purchase (I.e. no fees).

    Definitely recommended.
