Strange symbol on sony ericsson phone

Legacy_user

Some just called me to say they have symbol on their sony ericsson phone screen which is orange and rectangular and has the letters RFS and a green tick. They don't seem to be able to identify what it is. Does anyone know and can you help please.

Is it an rss feed symbol perhaps

It probably means they have subscribed to a service which supports this.

Sorry the picture is so big!

System

She says it is rectangular and is RFS with a green tick, the model is K810i

i have a k810i on tmobile. and i cant see what that means. (are you sure it isnt the 3g symbol? its a white square with 3 blue lines in it)

as already said, it may be the rss symbol saying that one has downloaded a rss feed.

edit: ignore the bit in brackets
edit 2: i just tried downloading an rss feed on my k810i, and it means you have an unread rss feed. to get rid of it you need to go to menu > messaging > rss feeds and select the one that has updated

Hi,

I've got the k810i and it is an RSS feed icon. Only way to get rid of it is to read the RSS Feeds (Press the shortcut key on the right and scroll down, you should be able to see which feeds are updated and read them, that will clear it)

Cheers
