Definately ok to ebay them, they bought them for a specific occasion which is now finished. I dont think they expect you to treasure them forever and ever!! I couldnt give two hoots if my bridesmaid sold her dress.!!The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Evening everyone. Big welcome back to lil-me, and a big thank you to our other lord and master pigpen. I've done not a lot in your absence, but it wasn't pigpens fault - just life. Keeps getting in the way unfortunately.
I've worked my socks off all day on the school stuff and have only managed about a 3rd of what i wanted to. Oh well - not stopping up all night to remedy that. If it aint good enough, sack me.All my lessons are sparkly and interactive, so hopefully that should distract from what i haven't done.
I think it may be another tough work week, she rolls her eyes and thinks AGAIN!! Lots to do. So i will just keep chipping away as i have got to keep trying.
Right. Not going to attempt the daily lists, will just try to do something every day depending on energy and time availability.
Jobs to do this week:
1) write charlie's birthday thank yous and deliver/post
2) pay nursery bill by cheque
3) give charlie's too small shoes to my mate for her boy as charlie must have been standing in manure again. Best to get rid of that clutter and do a friend a favour.
4) mark y9 test and homework
5) write a homework sheet for y11 for tuesday
6) post off rental DVD and shopping survey
7) put y7 and y9 test data on the computer
8) make phone call about car insurance and take out the policy
9) finish filling in the child tax credits application form.
10) order some xmas presents online and some more maternity clothes.
11) iron clothes for work for the week and for charlie
12) wash a load of charlie's coloured stuff
13) fill in application for cover for the 2 days i want off this term
14) ... there will be more but i can't think straight at the minute.
Job for DH:
1) investigate buying a new car for me. Very good offer of a friend of FILs car has come up and we definitely need to upgrade, just weren't thinking this month.
2) investigate selling my car
Will be washing my hair and attempting to do some ironing tonight while it dries. I will be trying to persuade DH to do a kitchen tidy and remake our bed.
Night all, and we'll rejoin the battle tomorrow.
Michelle, x0 -
michelle - you be careful and don't do too much, we're all worried about you! what does your DH do that he had such a long shift? (feel free to ignore if too nosy!)Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0

Right I'm in again this week, but WILL be more motivated. Am also starting a pre-christmas diet tommorow as I weighed myself today and got a bit of a shock:eek:
Have done quite well today. Sorted out the dreaded understairs cupboard this morning, then spent about an hour sorting paperwork(not finished yet) and after putting the littlies to bed have done and hour and half worth of ironing phew!
Need to go and find my list from the weekend as I still have a few thing I didn't get done today, but for once I am glad it's kitchen & dining room as I didn't manage to get the dining room done today and I have food shopping coming so will aim to get fridge clean before it arrives;)
DD1 has an appointment for a repeat eye test first thing tommorow and forgot to tell school so am going to ring in a bit and leave a message on answering machine and then I'm off to bed.DFW no.630!

Thanks for the welcome backs, weird thing is the new house feels so much more like a home since I posted that list. It's kind of me going back to doing something I enjoyed at home, realising that maybe the chaos is slowly ending and things are becoming a little more normal again.
Right, welcome to the new people, aswell as welcome back to the 'regulars' Pigpen is on standby if I need herso behave or I'll send her back!!!!
I know you all secretly enjoy a whack with a duster occasionally but your secret is safe with me
Michelle, don't overdo it, I know you need to get done what needs doing but stop it at there. If you need someone to kindly kick, or nudge, your DP, then shout!!! I've been there, in fact mines being all helpful and it's weird, not sure I like it, he keeps getting in my way!!!
Elizzy, big hugs sent your way, can't have been the easiest week for you, I lost my best friend many years ago when I was 13 years old, it does get easier, but some times are still delicate, go easy on yourself and don't try to be the shoulder too much, you need a shoulder too.
Tomorrow, well I will do level 3, even if it kills me, it's one of the rooms in which I can as there is no boxes :rotfl: but will be after dentists in the morningmy flippin crown has come off again!!!
Oh I forgot, a tip for any messy cooks like me, I've found something that helps, tea towels. Whenever I am cookng and know I will make a mess, like putting gravy on plates or pouring jelly into moulds, I put tea towels where I am working to catch the mess. Working very well for me, much less spills to clean up!One day I might be more organised...........

Well I did look which tiles need cutting next and then thought what the heck so I cut them! Kids are still zzzzzzzzzzzing so the cutter can't have woken them. Will be able to get straight on with laying them once I get back from the school run in the morning. Having checked the instructions I should be able to grout and get the fridge and possibly the DW back in situ by tomorrow night.
Right just had a :coffee: and now about to sign off and go and rub loads of hand lotion in to my hands.
Have a good night all, see you tomorrow.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
