Hi folks, welcome back Lil_me and thanks Pigpen for the fun and frolics while you've been Flysitting us!
As with every Sunday I declare my good intentions but hopefully this week will be a little more staright forward for me; perversely because I have no days off work. The past 3 weeks I or me and Blokey have had a couple of days off and the routine goes to pot. I've just come back from driving him home after being in his company since Wednesday evening (some of which was spent in London seeing the Sex Pistols but that's another story) and quite frankly I deserve a medal for not going crackers. I get twitchy when I can't get on with my stuff, which includes Flying and posting on here but I've managed this weekend to catch up with the bathroom and master bedroom when he was busy on MY laptop.
All being well I'll get to post and read the thread every day this week and get back into the swing of things and catch up on all your news.
Tonight I'm ironing and meal planning and bracing myself to update my finances after a couple of days wreckless spending. Gulp..One debt v 100 days Part 14 £400/£400

I'm in again this week and hoping to keep on top of things this week as fewer shifts.
Welcome back lil_me and thanks pigpen for the stilettos up the bum when I've needed them.
Think I will sit down in a bit and write a weekly plan as well as daily list as I get more done that way.I'd rather be watching CSI!0 -

No left overs in my house!:D
lol I feel like that at times, I am sure DH's mum thinks we are not eating properly!!! She seems to feel the need to feed us whenever we go there and who am I to argueMy mum seems to cook at least once a week for us as well and with a takeaway on Saturday nights that does not leave too many more for me to sort.
Thanks from me as well pigpen for the last few weeks, those golden mules suit youwelcome back lil_me think you might have to get a new feather duster and some more mules. Pigpen has worn the others out!
Well Dad and I laid some more tiles while mum baked and entertained A & W at their house, then she cooked dinner for us which we all ate while watching Strictly results show. Now the kids are in bed I am going to have a lil look and see what tiles need cutting tomorrow and see when I can start grouting so that I can get the fridge out of the hall and back into the kitchen :rotfl:. Until most of the floor is done there won't be an awful lot of flying here. I know excuses already!Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
Evening all and a warm welcome to Nic82 (sounds like a good plan)and Tired mummy. A big thank you to pigpen for attempting to keep us all in line but I think we're all a bit like your tribe - never a dull moment. Welcome back to the reins for lil_me hope you have settled into your new home. Somehow your list looks so much calmer and more achievable so I'll say I'm in and I will try (but you know I always fall off the wagon by Wednesday)
. Hope everyone else will have a good week especially those who had it rough last week.
Well I've been busy all day but dont actually seem to have achieved very much, and this is the first time I have sat down other than eating roast dinner. Have sorted all the washing, been feeding the WM and TD, baked a cake for kids, cooked the roast, put the shopping away (Tesco delivery service - brilliant, I dont think I'll ever set foot in the supermarket again :rotfl: what a godsend that was with no car at the mo). And thats it the days gone. DD is just throwing a tantrum about wanting a bath as I've told her she's got to shower as she's messed about pretending to do her room AGAIN for so long its already past bedtime  . She's got 5 minutes to finish up then I'm going to sort her.
Til tomorrow
KazMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -

Yep, I in again. Got lots of niggly jobs I MUST get done this week so if I list them on here I should get round to them. Will try not to play you up too much Lil_me, will ease you back in gently. Pigpen you have been a star:D .
I know i should be ironing now but think I shall have an early night instead.
Glad its the kitchen tomorrow, its not looking too bad as was given a good S & S after tea (which was lush - love my new slow cooker), must freecycle my old one too - another job for the list.
Lil_me - thanks for the heads up about the trousers. I noticed when DH was doing a M&S order for work shirts and trousers that they had some so tagged them on to his. Managed to get a 15% off code plus free delivery too:money: , and of course via quidco so 6% of value back;) .
JOBS TO DO (other than Flylady)
Post Ebay parcel
Post Dad's parcel
DD2 school application on-line
Pay cheque into bank
Mr T Delivery tomorrow
Make french onion soup (for DH)
Ironing (at least 1 hour - should clear it all)
List few more items on ebay
Get shopping budget upto date
Change address on clubcard (Tesco)
Make final list of outstanding xmas issue
Arrange for DH suit to be returned
Take DH trousers to dry cleaners
My plan this week is to get straight (ebay stuff etc) and then concentrate the following weeks on really deep down cleaning and clearing.

Right i've got the week off this week so no excuses for me. Need to start major declutteration as we could be moving house next month some time and i am NOT taking all this junk with me. Must get someone to kick me if i say "oh i'll decide when i unpack it". Hmmm this is gonna be a task and a halfMillions long for immortality who don't know what to do with themselves on a rainy Sunday afternoon.0

welcome to all the newbies / returners
the thread certainly helps get stuff done.
well, i've just done a quick job app that OH's mum just alerted me too - not an ideal job but i think it's worth applying. think i might add it to my list just so i can cross it off
right, ethical question for you! I have two bridesmaid dresses (one hand made, one from coast) which i know i'll never wear again (OH hates anything with a dress code!) is it ok to ebay them? they're just taking up space and i'm desperate for cash this month! just feel a bit bad as someone else bought them!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
