I thought you were intimidating a full and frank apology with Apple completely holding their hands up. That would result in 'free' batteries rather than good will.
Those 'apologising headlines ' aren't exactly a reflection of the content of the article with Apple still hiding behind the 'ALL' batteries deteriorate in time rather than 'yep, our batteries were poor'.
As I said it’s not what you want to hear but they had an issue so :rotfl:This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Has anyone experienced replacement battery failure. I had the iPhone 6 battery replaced for £45 in January and it failed in July, expanding and forcing the phone face out of the frame. As I couldn't get to Apple store and need the phone for business I had it replaced locally. When I got to Apple they refused to do anything as it had been repaired elsewhere. I suggested that their battery had not been fit for purpose but they would not listen and said it was not possible to return my money.0

At least you’ve learnt a valuable lesson, if you’re going to complain about a product or repair you don’t go to a different retailer or repairer and get them to tamper with the item you want to complain about. It completely negates any possibility of getting help or redress from the original retailer/repairer.====0
