Flow Energy do not meet the requirements that would otherwise obligate them to participate in the Warm Home Discount scheme.

Flow Energy offered WHD in 2017/2018, but withdrew from the scheme for 2018/2019 as they said they could not afford to fund it.

According to official home office website, Flow Energy does provide WHD.

Sorry to ask: Are you in core group or broader group?

Had mine with EON in November. Relative with BULB didn't qualify for their criteria even though he's had it for six years with Scottish Power, so ditching Bulb to switch him to EON. BULB did offer WHD but he didn't reach their criteria which was rather annoying as they don't tell you this when you switch. So afraid he's been worst off with BULB this year!

  • Are you referring to Broader Group or Core Group.

As I know, core group already received it as they do not need to apply, is automatically received.

  • SP is Scottish Power, SSD is a solid state hard drive, WTC is the world trade centre in Amsterdam :D.

CORE are those the state considers are 'in need' of protection from fuel poverty and automatically made eligible by the state and notified by the DWP in writing.

BROADER are those who win a share any money left over after the CORE group have been allocated funds.

Once the suppliers eligibility criteria has been approved by Ofgem, individuals can apply, if they win a share they will be notified by their supplier.
