£8 in Clubcard Deals - spend £2.50 on a keyring

  • I was refused the points at Tesco Horwich (Bolton) since the keyring was classed as a Photo Gift and not Photo Art.

There are several options on the photo machine. Photo Art is for Frames etc and Keyrings and Coasters are Photo Gifts.

    Kind Regards,

Had trouble in the LEA VALLEY store today
till would not accept any of the vouchers

orderd some photo's online and was told you have to order in store to use the 100pt on a £5 spend
tried to get the keyring for 200pts and was told i had to order online to get the keyring and points

not what i have read in the above posts has anyone else had any trouble ?
  • I am totally confused here………..
I am not a very technical minded person. Never used the photo center. Do you have to order these things (key ring, photo frame etc)?
And how do you pay, do you pay at the photo counter or do you collect the items there and take it to the till to pay along with other thing and points voucher?

At the big extra tesco's you can get the keyring there. It shows that Tesco haven't briefed there staff very well as they don't seem to have clue.

  • I've just phoned our local Tesco, they claim they do all the gifts from the brochure including the key rings. Some items have to be ordered but they confirm that all are paid for at the photo checkout. Although they don't have any of the promotional coupons they will still accept them, if I can find any.

  • just been to the local tesco and they dismissed the offer out of hand. The sales person claiming that it only referred to framed photographs I tried to argue and cited this site as a means of reference but even the manager agreed with them and said the offer did not relate to keyrings!!! Thought i would just come back and check I have my facts right before I go back in
    1. I have the correct gift offer booklet A4, Red Box with green ribbon - check
    2. Contains the reqired offer of "200 points when you buy any paersonal photo art from the in store photolab kiosk.." - check
    Thanks for any confirmation
  • Maybe their head office have sent an email about what people are doing. My brother inlaw who works for h/o has already told me that they have people who spend a great deal of time going through websites like this one.

It just seems so unfair that it all seems to hang on what store you go to
    Kind Regards

It appears that the coupon will scan against a photo gift purchase such as the keyring but the ss can be a pain and refuse it because of the coupons text. As mentioned in an ealier post my tesco have never seen the coupons but the ss has said she'll let me use them if i can find any, i guess she knows I won't.

    Hello,

Can anyone tell me which Tesco do this offer in central London?
I went to a big Tesco in Vauxhall that has photo processing and asked about photo gifts and they didn't have a clue.
The rest of the within-reach Tesco's are all Express & Metro, so no good.
Has anyone tried the Tesco in Morning Lane -Hackney?

    Many thanks,
    Fabrice
