£8 in Clubcard Deals - spend £2.50 on a keyring

What's the deal?
If you've got a big Tesco near you which has a photo developing section, there's a great way of boosting your Tesco Clubcard points stash plus a nice little stocking filler into the bargain! Spend £2.47 on a personalised keyring in-store and you'll get 202 Clubcard points.
Never ever spend Tesco Clubcard vouchers in store
While the 202 points will only be worth just over £2 when redeemed in stores exchange them for Clubcard Deals Tokens and they're worth 4 times as much and can be spent on days out, jewellry vouchers, holiday vouchers RAC membership and more (see the brochure). For more detailed info on why you should never spend them in Tesco stores read the Loyalty Schemes article.
What do I have to do?
First you'll need to pick up a copy of Tesco's Christmas Photo Gifts guide from the photo processing department (they should be on the counter).
To find your nearest store use Tesco's store locator . If you're not sure whether it has a photo department or you want to check your store has copies of the guide give the store a ring first to save yourself a wasted journey.
Attached to page 11/12 of the guide are four coupons giving extra points. The one you'll need says "200 clubcard points when you buy any personal photo art from the in store photolab kiosk when using your Clubcard".
There'll be a photolab kiosk on the photo processing counter. Pop your camera memory card with the photo you want on your keyring into the slot at the bottom of the screen. On the screen choose the Photo Gifts option on the menu and scroll through to find the keyring. Pick that and follow the options. You'll even be able to edit your photo if you like.
At the end of the process the machine will print a receipt out for you. Hand that together with your extra points coupon and your Clubcard to the sales assistant who will take your payment. You'll be given a receipt which you'll need to show to collect your keyring.
The keyring should be ready to collect in 14 days time although they do sometimes arrive earlier so if you're shopping before then it's worth checking.
Are there any Terms and conditions?
The voucher is valid until 9 December 2007 although remember if you leave it until then as it'll be busy in the run-up to Christmas you may not be guaranteed to receive it in time.
One coupon is allowed per product bought.
The coupon isn't redeemable online.
Plus, check your usual quarterly Tesco Clubcard mailing
The mailing currently being sent out to Clubcard holders apparently also contains a voucher for a free personalised keyring so keep your eyes peeled!
PS. This deal was originally spotted by MoneySaver MrsScrooge1 below. Thanks for the top spot! This post has been inserted to provide a more detailed explaination and research for MoneySavers coming from the weekly email

Thought I would draw attention to my earlier post on a new thread. Xmas Photo Gifts booklet instore has xtra points coupons inc 200 pts for photoart. It works on the £2.47 keyrings. Order early in time for xmas!!!!!:j0

Thanks, do you have a code to use online?

Be careful, there are two photo gifts booklets, one I found by the photo counter in Watford Extra today is a small colour A5 leaflet, but the one you want is an A4 sized magazine by the checkouts. I helped myself to 7 today with my shop (another 1000 points on talc - yay!) so I'll be heading back to order my keyrings this week. Thanks op!0

Hi
Is the talc offer still on then?
How many did you buy for 1000 points?
About the photo offer - do I need a seperate voucher for each photo gift? Can I hand over 5 vouchers for 5 gifts and get all the points? Or do you have to go in 5 different times? How did you get your photo on the gift? Disc, camera?
I have just made an excel spreadsheet to calculate my tesco points total, vouchers and deals value. it was easy. If anyone wants a copy, send me your email address and I will try to send.

I've been in at different times. Bought 2 keyrings each time using only one voucher. Don't want to alert any staff by bulk ordering with thousands of coupons in case they withdraw the booklets.0 -
talc offer finished today I think ..................0

Following Mrsscrooges' first post I tried this out, and I'm delighted to say it worked:j , especially as I wanted to buy the keyrings for Christmas presents anyway!
I needed 5 ( I didn't want to buy anymore and take the p*&!!!* - I can imagine there will be people buying hundreds of the things and never even bothering to collect them!) and fessed up and asked the SA if I would get 5 x 200 points in one transaction. She said no, I would need 5 different coupons, but very kindly waited whilst I put each one through on a separate transaction. At one point she asked me if I realised that as each keyring was £2.47, did I realise that by getting 202 points back I was effectively getting each one for 45p? I didn't have the heart to point out to her I was actually getting £8.08 back in deals:o.
So thankyou so much for the great spot Mrsscrooge - I got the various Grannies and Grandpas lovely Christmas gifts from my children, and enough points back for a really great day out somewhere:j !0
