Send a printed version in a light ring binder with page and exhibit spacers for the Judge.  He/she will love it.

Ok, I will do it, but there is no way I can get the printed copy to court by tomorrow. Is it still considered submitted even if it exceeds the max page number?

Yes - because presumably this is a remote hearing anyway and they don't always need to print it out nowadays.

But if you want the Judge onside, why not supply a nice organised bundle with tabs and dividers between each exhibit, and just attach (stick, no paper clips!) to the front of the folder, a cover note stating the claim number, date and time of hearing, the parties names and just state:

Please find attached a paper version to assist the court, of the Defendant's bundle which was filed and served electronically on xx/xx/2022.

As your top piece of paper in the file, put in a printout of your sent email, to prove you did file & serve on time.  As long as you sent a copy to the Claimant's solicitors, no need to send them a paper version.  They can go swivel.

So, I have a month till the court hearing. Is there anything else I can do in that time? And what else can I say in the hearing other than what is already in the documents I have sent? Would appreciate some further guidance

Read lots of other court hearing cases to understand the general format. Do a forum search on 'Another One Bites The Dust' to get a list of such.
And what else can I say in the hearing other than what is already in the documents I have sent?
The Judge will direct proceedings, giving the Claimant the first opportunity to present their case, then the Defendant the chance to respond. Each will get little more than a few minutes.  So you need a crib sheet with the main points of your Defence/WS to make sure you don't miss anything. You won't get much time, so pick your points carefully. You can't add new points, just the written points you have already submitted.

Alternatively, you may not even get a chance to say much at all, the Judge may have a couple of questions about your submissions which you will have to answer.

That's about the top and bottom of things.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Read some court hearing threads by searching the forum for ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST as your keywords and tick 'discussions' and 'newest' as the filter.

You'll already have seen the court hearing tips section of the NEWBIES thread - we hope - because thst resource covers all stages.

Hi, while preparing to the hearing I have noticed that I reffered to the wrong exhibit in one place. Shall I send a corrected version again or just clarify it during the hearing?
