Flight from USA to Manchester around Brexit

Hi all
Just after a bit of advice in the event of a no delay brexit. We are planning on booking flights to Houston with SingaporeAir but the cheapest return flights at the time we want to go land back in Manchester on 30th March, 31st March and 1st April.
In the event of a no deal brexit would the flight be affected if its a non EU airline or coming from the USA?
Just wanted to check before I booked.
Thanks in advance

Non EU airlines including American/Singapore fly into Non EU and EU countries at the moment? When we leave the EU then non EU airlines will still fly here. Project Fear?

Best advice would be to cancel your trip and spend that on the jazziest tin foil hat it will stretch too.

I think you will find that your flights are actually operated by Virgin Atlantic. I would hate to say whether or not this would be a non-EU airline arriving in a non-EU country at the time your flight lands.

And since the referendum was back in 2016 I can safely say that there is no chance at all of a "no-delay Brexit".
  • Son flies this route regularly definitely operated by Singapore Airlines on A350.
Route is IAH-MAN-SIN.Flight refuels and changes crew in Manchester before continuing to Changi

It is actually operated by Singapore Airlines on their aircraft with their crews under 5th freedom operating rights.

We're flying back from the USA on 2nd April.

The only worry in the back of my mind is that fool in charge of the States causing a shutdown again and subsequent delays n

  • Thanks for the replies. It seems as thought it should be fine so I will take the risk!
  • The UK is not going to war, or breaking diplomatic relations with the EU on 29th March 2019 - so flights in and out of the country will still operate as before.
