OK sorry never read that correct , as they made them the wrong size they should rectify this and will just recut the existing blinds to your size.As already stated if you get the blind size exact for the recess it may not work well as the slats may bind to the wall when adjusting as reveals are never 100% exact,you really need a few mm tolerence

Just thought I would tell you the outcome. I rang blinds2 go today and was told to hold on whilst she spoke to her manager.

She was very apologetic and said it was their fault as i was wrongly advised by them before i ordered, She said that i should have ordered recess and done the recess measurements.

She wants me to send them a photograph with tape measure on one of the slats to show that it is more than the measurement i ordered and then they will refund me and ask me to dispose of the blinds as they cannot reuse them as all their blinds are specifically made to order.

I know its hassle etc and disappointment but at least it seems they are a decent and reputable company.....she told me to re-order using recess measurements...
