Hilton Hotel forged my signature in front of me

If you didn't like the terms of the stay why didn't you go elsewhere?0

It says that all of that is only relevant if you tick the relevant box below so why didn't you just not tick the box for the bits you didn't like and just sign the form? Sounds like you were being deliberately difficult just for the sake of it and her writing your name is different to forging your signature, how would she even know what your signature looks like?0

Hmm, well I note that you "paid for accommodation in advance" and I would therefore emplore you to check the Ts and Cs at the time of purchase.
It may not be the case, but there is a chance that you were effectively COMPELLED to agree to those terms in order to stay at the hotel (as per the Ts and Cs from when you paid) and thus you only had two options:
1. Sign the document presented to you
2. Forefeit your room (and potentially up to the full amount) and find alternative accommodation
If there is even a hint of truth to that then this receptionist may have done you a huge favour here (in the pursuit of dealing with an awkward customer).... All on (likely) minimum wage as well...
The ironic thing is that "paid for accommodation in advance" is the likeliest way that criminals will get your details here too!
But aside from that, follow the advice of others. If you so wish put in a complaint to head office. Maybe report it to the police and any governing body (can't help you with a name I'm afraid). Maybe also take them to court if you have demonstratable losses.
Sorry, you didn't understand. I paid for accommodation in advance means I did it during check in process (not during check out), just before she gave me that document. I booked that hotel week before by using booking website. If you didn't like the terms of the stay why didn't you go elsewhere?
I would went away if I didn't pay, because I felt her disrespect to my person. So the question here is, why do they give that document to sign if they don't respect guest's decision? It says that all of that is only relevant if you tick the relevant box below so why didn't you just not tick the box for the bits you didn't like and just sign the form? There are no check boxes for what you are talking about. So there is not possibility to "not tick the box for the bits you didn't like".
Do you call "deliberately difficult" everybody who reads and try to understand document before signing? Are you person who doesn't read anything before signing?0 -
You could have still have left if you didn't agree to their t&c's. By staying you seriously undermine your argument.0

In the future, just sign it 'Donald Duck'. Or maybe 'Donald Trump'. Much less hassle all round...No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Standard form at a hotel. Did you enjoy your film and minibar. I did last time I was in Washington DC. New York, London! And Skegness!0
