Hilton Hotel forged my signature in front of me

Hi,
During check in at Hilton hotel in England I faced weird situation. I paid for accommodation in advance and after that receptionist gave me a document with my details and that information at the bottom.
I am not happy of that situation because in 2017 Hilton Hotels has been fined $700 000 for credit card data breaches.
Please tell me if there is anything what I could do in terms of signature fraud? do you know any organisations which can help? maybe related with GDPR?

During reading that document, woman said something like: “no worries, nothing will happen, its not important”, so I said “If its not important I don’t want to sign that”. I didn’t finish reading and she took document and said “so in that case I have to sign that for you” and she did it in front of me, she put the document in a drawer, gave me a key. I was shocked and went to the room. In the morning next day I asked about copy of that document so I have evidence.By signing below, you acknowledge and agree that the personal data provided on this registration card, and specific other information supplied by you in relation to your stay, may be used to: * provide services and products * process reservations and other transactions you request * better understand customer needs, e.g. through market research * send special offers, promotions, surveys, and other marketing information, by email, post or tale sales, provided that you check the relevant box below, and * for other purposes, as further detailed in Hilton’s Privacy Policy, which is available in paper format at the frot desk and is also located at http:// hiltonworldwide1.hilton.com/en_US/ww/customersupport/privacy-policy.do. First step would be to complain to Hilton.0

Contact head office with a scanned image of the signed form and make a complaint. Ask them to clarify the steps they will take to deal with it.0

Would I be right in thinking you're from the USA and were visiting England? I'm not sure in what way (if at all) the UK's GDPR apply to non-residents.0

First find an offence, what have you lost for it to be Fraud ?0 -

Did she 'forge' your signature or sign her name?0 -
I'd ask Hilton for a copy of any data they hold( you can do this on their website I think), I'd just ring or email the head office as stated and ask for an explaination, which is likely to be a) she shouldn't have done that b) she didn't do that.
I might be worth warning others on tripadviser depending on what they say.0 -
Hmm, well I note that you "paid for accommodation in advance" and I would therefore emplore you to check the Ts and Cs at the time of purchase.
It may not be the case, but there is a chance that you were effectively COMPELLED to agree to those terms in order to stay at the hotel (as per the Ts and Cs from when you paid) and thus you only had two options:
1. Sign the document presented to you
2. Forefeit your room (and potentially up to the full amount) and find alternative accommodation
If there is even a hint of truth to that then this receptionist may have done you a huge favour here (in the pursuit of dealing with an awkward customer).... All on (likely) minimum wage as well...
The ironic thing is that "paid for accommodation in advance" is the likeliest way that criminals will get your details here too!
But aside from that, follow the advice of others. If you so wish put in a complaint to head office. Maybe report it to the police and any governing body (can't help you with a name I'm afraid). Maybe also take them to court if you have demonstratable losses.0 -
She has written my name in "guest signature" section.
Has Hilton (or anyone else) claimed that you have signed the form?
If Hilton agree that you did not sign the form, and they agree that the receptionist wrote your name on the form, then presumably you have no complaint.
(I guess you might have a complaint if they go on to use your information in a way that you have not agreed to. I guess you could write to them to make it clear that you don't agree.)0
