Red neon light blown on Boiler wall socket switch and kitchen trip switch won't turn on

Hi,

First time posting - hope you can all help me!

The trip switch won't go back on for my kitchen sockets (all lights are fine) and keeps circuiting if I try! I have turned off all the switches and removed all appliances from the sockets.

I have noticed that the boiler which is wired into a socket has blown the neon light at the top, and after changing the fuse, still won't turn on.

What should I do? I assume it is an issue with the boiler, but could it be the fuse box? Help!

I'm assuming the boiler as well or a problem with the wiring in the hard wired socket

So you mean the boilers not working at all or just the neon light not working

Have you tried removing the fuse on the boiler spur socket and then trying to turn the trip switch back on?

Is it a a standard MCB with just live wire or an RCBO trip? Tell us the Model & make which should be written on it if you don't know what the difference is.

Any water been leaking from the boiler?

Have you unplugged fridge/freezer? Also hob - is that plugged in?

Best bet - contact an electrician who will know what he is doing to sort it out
