Even when the driver has been given away in error, she could win on 'no landowner authority' so it's worth a shot using a couple of the template POPLA appeal points, in post #3 of the NEWBIES thread.
Certainly no paying them! No risk, no CCJ, nowt bad that affects you in any way.
Much appreciated, thank you. I have just found the Landowner Authority template - we will give this a go, fingers crossed. How would you rate the chances of success using this approach?0 -
As long as you do the complaint to a Manager, and do it before trying POPLA, then you have every chance of getting it cancelled (depends on the landowner).
Your POPLA code will keep for 30+ days, and any complaint must be made FIRST.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

we dont even know who the landowner or retailer or M.A. is, so how would we know if it may be successful ?
a landowner approach is a great idea, and works quite well in some situations, BUT dont let it stop the popla appeal going in by day 32 as the code will expire on day 33
so do both and hope it gets cancelled before the time to upload the popla appeal
and judging by your replies so far, I am not sure you understand how the CCJ issue works yet
if she loses in court , pay on the way out of court, or within one month, not the "fine" , but the court JUDGMENT, so whatever the judge says in the judgment0
