Grow up love. You're a trained doctor, yet you are being childish on a forum

People think you're a liar as your first post asked 'if I lie will I get caught.'

Separated following violent husband. So lone parent supporting ASD child. In a flat don’t want to keep moving so decided I shall buy a house. I am hating it already but now committed myself that I must do this all my friends have mortgages. My combined income is 34000 per annum but this includes hold tax credits so this sums not applicable. Locums pay a lot but not doing them as don’t have child care. My family support me but struggles as son is challenging but a lovely boy otherwise. Loves grasscutters so would love a home 🏠 thinking as lying is wrong might consider either mortgage alone as have DIP but might be safer if I went with a old build which I’ve made lower offer for but would have to increase sorry about the rant but appreciate the helpful people on this forum.:smiley::smiley::)

You will get a home, but you will not get one by being dishonest with figures or asking them to consider work you may do in the future which you do not do now.

Go with an old build, itll have a bigger non crappy turfed garden and bigger rooms for your boy.

It has nothing to do with you being a doctor, you could have been unemployed, a neurosurgeon, a teacher, or a shop assistant. Fraud is fraud regardless.

Thanks the other option Is I go for old built house but then it would need adaptations as I need a ground floor WC for my son. It’s my first time on any forum so I think some people think I am a liar which I am not. It was just so people would get commenting and offer me a solution. With regards to HP I like automatic cars and new ones got a Ford Fiesta. I was actually considering an upgrade rather than paying it off sorry that might not be very helpful.

You will have to consider whats more important, a new car for you or a home and garden for your son. not guilt tripping, but at the moment you only seem to be able to have one or the other.

Sorry if I offended you and have made a bad impression of myself. I knew I wouldn’t get a response had I posted just advice required so went for something that would get people posting. It’s my first ever post on a forum so not very wise of me I admit I knew people wouldn’t agree and usually post when they want to challenge something . I really appreciate your honesty hope you practice what you preach. You take things literally. Sorry but You have no idea about my circumstances. I’ve been through a lot.I am An International medical graduate and have had problems like everyone. Been a victim of domestic abuse and incest by my brother. I have received CBT. I work strictly in accordance with gmc guidance. I am considering just removing the post and crying instead solving my own problems like I always do, as people have no idea what life for doctors can be like. It’s tough actually. Thanks anyway might be my last post of my life.

Okay, none of this has any relevance to your mortgage.

I hope you find an affordable home for you and your son.

Both so crappy big old big house seems like a good option
Actually I do like two old builds massive gardens so would be ideal. Yes I will need to get quotes for a ground floor wc for one but it’s cheaper than new build. I’ve increased the offer I originally made, as vendor wasn’t happy with my offer. Don’t expect them to like my second offer. A lot of work would need to be done
