    If that’s what your broker was proposing to charge you you’re better off out of it, that’s a huge fee to simply arrange a mortgage. Unless I’ve misunderstood.

    Anyway post 2 contains all the relevant information and guidance - act on that but expect the outcome laid out there.

    Edit: I do of course mean 5k. Thanks AdrianC. Not 10k. But that’s still a huge sum to spend on a broker.
