You've lost your money, which i presume must be multiple tens of thousands, maybe even more, maybe hundreds of thousands which makes me doubt the truth of this but maybe unfortunately ist true,
Employ a solicitor to see what can be done but the chances of getting anything back are less than a no deal Brexit.0 -

Well that puts a different complexion on it, OK you've probably lost your money but maybe £2k not £100k ?- Use an Estate Agent next time.
- And a solicitor.
- And certainly dont pay a broker any money until the deal is done. There's no way the broker could reserve a house because thats up to the sellers not the broker.
