Hi All,

We received 2 PCNs for parking a Loxford Clinic : one for parking at staff bay first and the other for parking in patient bay. The car was moved from staff car park bay as soon as patient bay was free thus the camera picked up the VRM again and issued the another PCN.. or there must be two cameras - one for the staff and one for patient section..

We failed to notice the signs to enter number plate at reception.

What shall we do? Tomo is the last day for the 14 day...

Wanted to appeal on PE site, by selecting I was a patient. Really didn't want the hassle for popla etc can this be converted to 1 PCN?

Any advice will be appreciated.

Thanks

No, you didn't want to do that. No-one gives away the driver.

You need to complain to the Clinic Manager, first of all, and not say the car was actually parked in the first area...it was driving round...looking for a space...

The clinic can cancel these. Even if they won't cancel BOTH, make them cancel ONE. Do that complaint first, and make sure you speak to the Manager. DO NOT talk about being parked in the wrong place first.

You then need to read the NEWBIES FAQS thread for how to appeal as keeper.

Is the PCN dated/did it arrive at your house, within 14 days?

How come a second PCN was generated, did you not get told to register your VRN?

Is it a new stupid system?

This does NOT suit patients who are feeling ill. A scam. PE and ANPR cameras have no place in Hospital and GP Clinic car parks.

Yes its dated and arrived within 14 days to RK address..

Their appeal forms states: Please select the reason for your appeal.

So I will choose "other" here and not select I was a patient/customer etc..

The timings on the PCNs show the staff one duration around 20mins and patient one around 15 mins...

Patient one (second pcn) starts as soon as the staff (first) one ends so the exit time of staff and the entry of the patient one is the same to exact seconds

there will be no option "I was a patient/customer etc.."

No, you choose registered keeper. The person named on the PCN letter appeals.

Appeal both as keeper or whatever option there is that does not reveal the driver's identity.

Use the template in blue from the NEWBIES, sent by the keeper unaltered.

In parallel, complain long and loud to the clinic manager.

Also complain to your MP about this unregulated scam.

I hope you are not now doing the appeal...that is not the first step this month at all.

  • The second PCN got generated as soon as I switched from the staff bay car park to the patient bay...

Its an existing system where you have to enter VRN in the reception but as its was dark after sunset and my first time at the surgery, didn't notice the sign or the entering the details in reception..

Was essentially waiting for a relative to have a jab at the pharmacy. The thing is it was a walk and no appt so no records..

I will try the clinic manager.

Wondering what do you mean about this month? The 14day elapses in day or two...

The appeal from the newbie thread is simply to get a POPLA code as its 100% they will reject that default appeal template-is that correct?

    What 14 days?

The 14 days before the bargain discount offer finishes?

You need to get your priorities right and go for the 100% MSE discount. :D

    Your choice though.

lol you are right. Yes their sale price end date...

But i wish I had the energy to fight these scums of the earth, it's a lot of effort - havent gone the full mile every myself.. I guess its easy to get a POPLA by using the default appeal response. But after that, POPLA appeal is bit of an effort, gather evidence, decide on what points to appeal on and as POPLA don't accept mitigating circs which is rather unfair.. And when you lose at POPLA which seems the norm nowadays, then wait and to get LBCC, thats where you have to spend many more hours preparing your case in proper court format statement...

    I hate these SCUMS!!! ahhhhhhgggghhhh
