Thanks to you all for replying I dont normally get chance to see who wins what on a daily basis but just got the feeling no one ever won - youve put my mind at ease that all these hours are not for nothing

To put a bit more meat on the bones

It is reasonable to assume that competitions are one of the main purchase reasons for TAB unlike say Bella where they are likely to be a minor reason at best.

If only approx 1 in 5 purchasers of TAB enter the competitions that's around 100,000 entries for roughly 50 prizes, so overall odds of winning any week would be 2,000 to 1 or on average 1 win every 38 years. The odds of 2,000 to 1 are the same whether you have won already or not so some people win multiple times while others never win anything. Not everybody enters for all the prizes so there is probably a better chance with holidays etc than the cash prizes.

Circulation for Bella is just over 166,000 and as it is not competition driven lets say only 1 in 20 enter theirs so about 8,000 but with only 2 prizes the odds are twice that of TAB at 4,000 to 1 (Average of 1 win every 76 years)

My mum doesn't comp on here but buys the magazine but enters her answers online now like some others, she won the top prize a couple of years ago of £10,000. She done some dream stuff for herself including an escorted tour of the States - Pennsylvania/DC/Battlefields etc all to do with what she loved reading about in her younger years, but had never managed to do(probably cos of me and my sister lol).
My OH also won a £200 prize entering online.
Since then I've been doing TAB but haven't won anything, but it's fun and keeps me out of trouble!

I won £50 many years ago and got another £50 about 4 years ago - nothing since but I must admit I go through phases of not entering them.

Never won from these mags but I won twice in a 4 month period with real people magazine I think it was, won £100 both times

I've won a few small cash prizes before, plus a holiday two years ago, and got a letter yesterday to say I've won a pressure cooker (thank you One-Eye!)

A couple of months ago I won a top of the range mattress worth 950, which was a great win, from one of the magazines....
