Most insurance companies work on customer numbers. Mine calls them client numbers- and can track the same person through different addresses, policies and coverages.0

Exactly! so you take a new policy on line, the chances are it will go under a different reference number! no company will employ someone to just check if clients have a different reference number! This is how it works for any company i have worked for. Of course clients wouldnt understand that! but that is how it is!0 -
No, I mean that it recognises the same names matched to the same addresses. Its also linked to the payments system, so it can track people via bank accounts as well.0
