UKCPS PCN. Appeal lost. IAS appeal lost. What do I do now?

Hello,

I got a fine for parking in a gated complex near my house that I pay to use which you enter with a pin code. The permit wasn't displayed and isn't visible in the photos they've taken. I appealed to them & lost. I received an email stating to appeal to the IAS forfeiting my "right" to pay the lesser fee. What do I do now? My latest email from the IAS says my appeal was dismissed and that I need to contact UKCPS to pay the fine.

I am not involved in any kind of legal work and don't know what to do! I am however, very against the bullying of the little people and I am very keen to fight against these disgusting companies. Any help would be very much appreciated!

    Nothing.

Ignore debt collectors letters and post again on this thread if ever you receive a Letter of Claim or official court correspondence.

To better understand the game you are now caught up in, and to prepare yourself for what's to come, have a read of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread.
  • I've had a look at that a few times but was unsure if legally I had to contact them now or just wait. Thank you so much KeithP!! :)

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD
  • I am in a similar situation, so thank you all for posting your comments - it is very helpful.

Does every PCN that goes to the debt collector stage end up going to the courts claim stage? Or is there a chance that they give up before then?

I am just worried that I gave too much away in my initial appeal to the PPC that I wouldn't be successful at the court stage.

Sorry if that's been answered elsewhere - I have been trawling the forum to find the answer but haven't been successful.

Most tickets go no further than debt collectors. Some ppcs go to court more than others though.

If you want further advice you would be better off starting your own thread/
  • Hello guys,

Quick update! Today I have received a letter entitled "Claim Form" asking me to pay £185 and a link to
moneyclaim dot gov dot uk. The letter states I will find it difficult to get credit in the future if I get a judgement order against me. There are several options including paying all the £185, accepting responsibility for part of it, making a counter claim or contesting it. What do I do?

    Kind regards!

  • It says the court address is "Money Claims Online, County Court Business Centre, NN1 2LH" and I need to pay the claimant (UKCPS)

follow the advice I gave in this NCP thread, doing the AOS and posting that you have done it, plus post that DATE OF ISSUE on the N1 form as well, in your reply

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5982700/ncp-county-court-claim-pcn

this is a genuine court claim from the CCBC , do not ignore it

So you are saying you have a claims form from Northampton or what. Such a form will be from Gladstones on behalf of their client and will not ask you to pay UKCPS. IT IS A CLAIM to go to court

Or is this showing Gladstones letterhead
