Clearly something has gone wrong. Do you have a copy of the DQ to show that you definitely chose Poole? If so, phone the CCBC at Northampton and ask for clarification.

As the Defendant is a not an individual, I think you'll find the Claimant chooses the venue.

Perhaps you could suggest, in the interests of fairness, that the case be heard somewhere about halfway between the Claimant's and Defendant's location.

Anyway, why did you choose Poole Magistrates Court?

If you wanted a Poole Court, then Bournemouth and Poole County Court would be the nearest one.

However, it has been reported on here a few times that Bournemouth County Court, seems to be a bit on the side of the PPC.

Well yes, your case, being a Civil case, will be heard in a County Court somewhere.

Criminal cases are heard in Magistrates Courts.

Although one would hope the CCBC would be able to sort that out - they must see it many times.

Well a trip to Nottingham wouldn't be so bad as I can tie it in with a visit to family. Not sure that the witness I'm calling from the Doctors practice in Poole will be very happy!!! Its a shame that they don't stipulate the court before hand as I could have highlighted the Easter holidays as a good time and would pack wife and daughter in to the car and drop them off at the grandparents!

I cant find any Nottingham cases won or lost on here has anyone had any experience at all?
