Well they certainly didn't help by "fixing" their measurements of efficiency for vacuum cleaners - which it took Dyson 5 years to get the EU to accept mainly because of how long it takes the EU to actually do anything.

Thank heaven for the ECJ then :)
Dyson appealed to the European Court of Justice in January 2016 and on 11 May 2017 it won. The court said that to reach the conclusion it had, the General Court “distorted the facts”, “ignored their own law”, “had ignored Dyson’s evidence” and had “failed to comply with its duty to give reasons”.

Swindon was once our producer of rail locomotives and rolling stock. Not any more, it's Bombardier in Derby

Swindon was once just ONE of our producers of rail locomotives and rolling stock, along with Eastleigh, Brighton, Doncaster, Ashford, Bromsgrove, Wolverton, Horwich, Crewe and Wolverhampton amongst others - oh, and two at Derby, one of which has, after a couple of other owners since BREL was sold, become owned and operated by Bombadier. It has been continuously building railway stock since 1876.

Remoaners can’t stand the truth. Hey we don’t like the result so let’s do another referendum until we get the one we want. Maybe the issue with what I posted is around the poor Eastern Europe countries being subsidised as well as having a cheap workforce. As those of us who have worked in the IT industry know, cheaper is not better. Companies outsource to Indian companies for peanuts and they get monkeys, service is rubbish but who cares because the accountants are happy.

Just like Eastern European’s living 10 per house in the uk and able to undercut the uk workforce as their outgoings are much cheaper is not great for anyone but business owners who want to keep wages down. But the liberal elite remainers can never see this nor the real cost to our nhs, schools, council services by people who earn so little they are under the lowest tax bracket or are self employed and pay no tax anyway.

Can you concede that the information in the OP was false before moving the goalposts and changing the subject?

    Welcome new poster.

I think you will find that your "vile hate filled gammons" are nothing more than yet another construct of those that are truly "hate-filled", i.e. certain remainers.
It's just more remainer bile to go alongside Brexiters being called "thicko's", "racist" etc. etc. etc.

Swindon was the largest in Europe. Used to employ 12,000 people. Skills lost. In particular engineering.

With findings like those will the EU recompense Dyson for lost sales as a result of their distortions and falsifications?
So thank heavens my backside - the ECJ was forced to accept the truth in the face of overwhelming evidence but the fact remains that the EU deliberately favoured other manufacturers after being informed that their system was flawed.
    So your original comment:

Maybe they were desperate to get rid of Dyson :)
